Aping - continued from Havleoni Revinda
people who don't know me well
won't know that my "second" name is aping
and people who know me too well
don't know that my real name is revie
where did aping come from?
i used to ask my grandmother this
she couldn't give me an answer
because according to her
my mom invented this name
so when i finally got the chance to ask her
this was her answer:
i couldn't say the word revie
when i was smaller
and i used to say it "api"
and according to my mom
around that time
there was a chinese kung-fu tv series going on
and one of the characters
had a red pig's nose
two ruby red cheeks
bald head (which i had when i was a baby)
and was always drunk
and he walked from side to side
due to his drunk-ness (is that a word... LoL)
and according to my mom
i walked about the same way then
cuz i was still learning how to walk
and yea... the character's name was of course
APING
and through my mom's geniuses
it automatically became my nick name
and where did markoping come from i wonder?
.......
gotta ask the people of tukang lenong
i had no connection wotsoeva...
i only adapted it
hehe
