Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban
Ok... So, finally it's out. The one movie I've been waiting for. I've seen it... on its premiere night - I wanted even to watch the triple feature, since I didn't have to go to work that day... but I had dance practice... damn! - and my verdict? I hate to say this, but it's a bit of a disappointment... I'm not saying that the movie is not worth watching, cause it is. Just that the third Harry Potter book is by far to my opinion (and many of those who have read it) the best book of the five that have been published up to now. And I just thought, well, seeing it to be such a great plotted book, the movie would be just as fabolous.

Sure the kids have grown into good-looking teenagers, especially Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson. And their acting is getting better with the time. But the plot!!! The plot is just unbearable. I mean, it's great that Alfonso Cuaron could bring the whole movie together but I think he could've done better.

Now the new Professor Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) didn't impress me much either. And I have the feeling that his existence in the movie doesn't play a great role, which I think is an insult. In the book, it so extensively described that Albus Dumbledore is a great wizard who has particular interest in Harry and is someone who Harry himself looks up to. Meanwhile, the movie describes otherwise: he is a mere Headmaster of Hogwarts. And how could Alfonso Cuaron cut out the scene where Harry and Dumbledore are speaking after Lupin takes his leave??? That is, I believe, THE most important scene!!!

But yea, all in all it's an okay movie. It's the movie u guys should have in ur 'next to see' film list. But I'm warning those who have read the book, just don't expect much of it.
