Drink and Get Drunk .... :P

12 Tequilla shots, please?! No, no lime. Just oranges and please don't forget the salt. Thanks!!!

Believe it or not I used to down 12 Tequilla shots all by myself on one single night out - twice a week. If you have 4 weeks in a month and 3 cl in one shot, that's approximately 290 cl - almost 3 L of Tequilla (if I calculated correctly)... And if you go to Absolut Bar that's € 288 worth of dough.

Not exactly a smart way to spend my money... not to mention risking my health. For all I know I might have tortured my liver to death, abusing it up to the point of permanent-damaging level. But hey, I'm young (and stupid and senseless for that matter) and I don't - actually, didn't is the word - give a damn. As long as I was drunk on the liquid I love most on Friday (AND Saturday) night, I wasn't complaining.

Even if it meant facing the toilet-seat (literally!) and sticking my finger into my throat as deep as possible to force my dinner out the wrong way every 15 minutes for the rest of the night; and having an extra kilo at the back of my head the next morning but not daring to take an aspirin 'cuz the alcohol-concentration in my blood might still be too high; and being "lemot" the whole day (if it was Saturday: before it all started again) and having 5 to 10 second-blackouts everytime I tried to get on my wobbly feet... Yea, I still did it.

Call me alcoholic if u'd ilke. But at least I didn't let the damned sombrero-topped bottles containing the clear and tasty (or say, nasty... hehe) Tequilla control my life. I (read aloud: R E V I E) controlled the Tequilla - although I let it control my madness while it ran through my blood, making me almost impossible to tame :D And that's the difference between those pathetic alcoholics and me. I guess that made me a classy alcoholic, huh? LoL... I drink with a style, haha, usually the "fall-off-the-chair" style!!! :D

I quit my drinking habit. Not totally, though. Still drink now and then, but never to the point of not remembering my own beautiful (haha) name and not remembering how I got home the night before. Nowadays I choose non-alcoholic or very low-alcoholic cocktails. They cost more, but at least I need 2 hours max. to finish the whole glass. And at least I don't fall off chairs anymore! :D
